Breda Radej

BREDA RADEJ (nee Cesarek), passed away February 6, 2026, one day before her 83rd birthday, beloved wife of the late Leon Radej; loving mother of Leon Radej, Jr. (deceased), Tanja Leskovec (husband William), and Anthony Radej; devoted grandmother of Christina and Mark Leskovec; cherished daughter of the late Franc and Angela (nee Arko) Cesarek; dearest sister of the late Draga, Dana, Majda, and Franc Cesarek; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Breda was born February 7, 1943, in Ribnica, Slovenia where she would receive her primary education. She came to the Unites States in 1959; here she would marry her dear Leon at St. Vitus Catholic Church. Breda was a loving mother and homemaker. She took great pride in supporting Leon's Auto Repair in Chesterland, working closely with her husband and son, Anthony, to help their family business. She was a member of the Slovenska Pristava and enjoyed classical and polka music. Breda liked travelling, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Breda was a hospitable, social, and giving spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, loving heart, and devotion to her family and faith.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094, at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Breda at DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 5 - 8 PM.
