Carlene Gayle Amoroso

CARLENE GAYLE AMOROSO (nee Schweitzer), age 89, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025. A long-time resident of Euclid and Highland Heights, Carlene was the devoted wife of the late Lucien L., loving mother of Mark (BettyAnn) and Greg (Janine), beloved grandmother of Erica, Elisa, Jennifer and Andrew, dear daughter of the late Carl and Violet Schweitzer, cherished sister of Judy Gibson and the late Donna Todd, Walter Schweitzer and Jill Lawyer, devoted great-grandmother, aunt and treasured friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Gail Lancaster (Oaks Employee Care Fund), Oaks at Hampton, 5610 Hampton Park Dr. Cumming, GA. 30041. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, from 12 - 1 PM at Shore Haven Lutheran Church, 280 E. 222nd St., Euclid, OH 44123. Funeral service following at 1 PM., followed by burial at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
