CARMEN A. PETRECCA, age 84. Beloved husband for 54 years of Shirley M. (nee Danley). Loving father of Nancy Taylor (husband Jeff), Patrick (wife Jena), Mary Brown (husband Robert), Jack (wife Tammy), and Ron (wife Kristi). Devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Kevin, and Scott Taylor, Erik Petrecca, Amber and Phillip Kinney, Sara, C.J. and Carolyn Brown, Kasey and Jack Petrecca, Jr., Austin Luchowski, Donovan, Carson and Morgan Petrecca. Cherished son of the late Pasquale and Rose (nee Scarano). Dear brother of the late Cecelia Scarano, Lucille Amantea and Anthony. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Carmen was a World War II and Korean Conflict U.S. Army Veteran.
Carmen passed away on March 31, 2011 at Lake West Hospital. He was a current resident of Willowick and formerly a resident of Collinwood. He graduated from Collinwood High School and was a member of Collinwood Memories. Carmen also started the CYO programs for St. Mary Magdalene. He loved sports, especially basketball.
Carmen’s family will remember him as a generous and caring man whose family always came first.
