Clarence "Jeff" Francis Jeffries, II.

Clarence "Jeff" Francis Jeffries II., age 80, beloved husband for 57 years of Karen (nee Lampman); loving father of Michael (Sarah) and Claudia Thompson (Phil); fun-loving Papa of Aspen Jeffries, and Jack, Charlotte and Elle Thompson; caring uncle of Matthew (Nalani), Marissa, Molly, and Allegra; cherished son of the late Clarence and Ruth (nee Dunlap); dearest brother of the late Tom and Mark; dear uncle of the late Shaun.

Jeff was born on February 12, 1946 and raised in Fairview Park, Ohio. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he furthered his education earning his M.A. from Kent State. Jeff began his career as a teacher in Richmond Heights and Mayfield Heights. He then transitioned to work in information technology at Ohio Bell, Standard Oil, and British Petroleum (BP) where he led domestic and international teams connecting systems globally. He was a lifelong member of Phi Gamma Delta and The Ohio State Alumni Club. Jeff loved his guitars, classic rock and roll, boating on Lake Erie with family, watching a game at the Shoe, and cheering on his children and grandkids. His friends knew and loved him for his excitable nature, positive energy, and love of sweets!

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jeff at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SUNDAY, MARCH 29, 2026, from 2-4 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 4 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME.
