DANIEL ROBERT “DANNY” BASS age 59, cherished son of the late Peter “Kenny Bass” and Veronica (nee Abromovich) Bastasic; dearest brother of Kenneth Bastasic, Peter Bastasic (Beverly Babul), Susan Phillips (husband Gary) and the late Karen Dwyer (husband Gary); devoted uncle of Kelly Dwyer (Rob Ronske), Gary Dwyer Jr. (wife Jennifer), Carly Marino (husband Frank), Matthew Phillips (wife Elizabeth) and great-uncle of Gianna, Gabrielle, Adam, Elliotte, Veronica, Gavin and Drew; dearest nephew of Gertrude & James Dobay and Frances Churney; dear cousin and friend of many. Preceded in death by his K-9 companion Boola.

Danny was born on February 23, 1961 in Richmond Heights, Ohio and passed away on May 11, 2020. He was a resident of Richmond Heights for 10 years. Danny graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1979 and was the owner/operator of D B Remodeling. He loved film and was active in the Cleveland Independent Film community. Danny enjoyed cooking and was a big horse racing fan. He was a Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavs fan. Danny was devoted to his family and friends. He will be remembered most as a very social, fun loving and generous man who had a big heart. Danny was funny and loved to make people laugh.
