Donald W. Boone

DONALD W. BOONE, of South Euclid, Ohio passed away on June 14, 2024, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Donald was born August 24, 1935 in Wayne Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, the oldest son of Robert Boone and Myrtle Mace Boone. Donald was preceded in death by his sisters Irene, Pauline, Jean; and his brother Allen. Donald arrived in Cleveland seeking employment and spent many years of his life serving the community as an employee of East Ohio Gas, now Dominion. Donald had a passion for the sport of bowling and traveled extensively as a bowler on the Professional Bowlers Tour, creating lasting memories and friendships along the way. His love of the sport was matched only by his dedication to his home and family. He showed great pride in his home and served as a role model for his stepchildren, grandsons, and great nieces and nephew. Donald's legacy of hard work and community spirit will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

A visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home, 4600 Mayfield Road, South Euclid, Ohio.
