DOROTHY R. HAMRICH (nee Hacker), aged 95 years, beloved wife of the late Robert H., loving mother of Robert H. Jr. (Barbara), Deborah L., and Mark J., dear grandmother of Gregory R. (Cara), David Aaron and Lee Aaron, preceded by her parents and 4 siblings.

Dorothy R. Hamrich, of Beachwood, OH, was born on February 4, 1928, in Sandusky, OH, and passed away on April 24, 2023, in Highland Heights, OH. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Sandusky and Providence Hospital School on Nursing, also in Sandusky. As an R.N., she was employed as an operating room nurse at the Cleveland Clinic, Fremont (Ohio) Hospital, and St. Thomas Hospital (Long Island, NY), and was nursing supervisor at Manor Care Nursing Facility in Mayfield Heights, retiring in 1995. Dorothy was a long-time member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in South Euclid, now Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2014, her parents David J. and Elnora (nee Kromer) Hacker, and her siblings, David J. and Edmund Hacker, Agnes Hacker and Mary Hacker Faber.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 8, 2023, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11 AM. Burial in Knollwood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
