Edward M. Gebura

July 25, 1956 — January 1, 2026

EDWARD M. GEBURA age 69, passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. For 15 beautiful years, Ed was the deeply loving and devoted husband of Patricia (nee Oswald). Their marriage was a true partnership, filled with faith, laughter, shared adventures, and a profound love that grew stronger with time. Patricia cherished every moment of their life together, and Ed was her greatest companion and confidant. Together, their greatest joys were their children and grandchildren, and they built a life rooted in love and gratitude; treasuring each day they were blessed to share. He was a proud and loving father to Rachael (Andrew), Ryan (Jessica), Kevin (Bethany), Allyson (Sam), and Crosby (Sam) & an adoring grandfather to Soren, Wesley, Béla, Dorothy, Indy, George, and Kena Jo, with another precious granddaughter on the way. While Ed cherished his role as a grandfather here on earth, he now joyfully meets his beloved grandson, Roman, in heaven. Ed was the cherished son of the late Edward and Marie (nee Brice) and the dear brother of Terri Jensen. He was also a loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and loyal friend to many. At home, he was never far from his faithful canine companions, Toby, Milo, and Mia, who brought him constant comfort and companionship.

Born on July 25, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, Ed was a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School, Class of 1974. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in 1978 and later completed his master’s degree at Cleveland State University. Ed spent many years working as a financial controller, where his intelligence, integrity, dedication, and steady presence were deeply valued. Ed had a deep love for life’s simple and beautiful moments. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, a lover of all kinds of music, and happiest when outdoors birdwatching, gardening, or simply enjoying nature. Many of these moments were made even more special through the adventures he shared with Patricia, creating memories they both hold dear. Ed will be remembered as a kind, gentle, loving, and adventurous soul. He was patient, selfless, witty, and known for his wonderful sense of humor. His faith guided his life, and his devotion to his family was unwavering. He had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and loved, and his presence brought calm and warmth wherever he went.
