ERNEST ROBERT MIKLAVIC, aged 73 years, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2017, beloved brother of Dennis (Carol), Joanne Szymczak (Ron – deceased), Jan Parmertor (Bob), Joyce Czachur (Greg) and Jackie Urdman (Dale), loving companion of Margie Osborne, devoted son of the late Ernest L. and Josephine (nee Janki), also survived by three children and 4 grandchildren, cherished uncle and great-uncle to many. Ernest was a graduate of St. Joseph High School (Class of ’61), Ohio University (Class of ’65), a member of Theta Chi Fraternity at O.U., and a retired United States Coast Guard veteran. He enjoyed traveling, and was an avid boater on Lake Erie.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid, at 10 AM. Burial following with military honors in All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Ernest at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME, 28890 CHARDON RD. (BETWEEN BISHOP RD. AND RT. 91) WILLOUGHBY HILLS, ON WEDNESDAY FROM 4-8 PM.
