ERNEST C. SCHABERL, age 86. Beloved husband for 62 years of Martha (nee Minut). Loving father of Barbara Abate (husband Donald) and James (wife Karen). Devoted grandfather of Alison Alfieri (husband Dan), David, Matthew and Michael Abate and Thomas Schaberl and great-grandfather of twins Brianna, Brittney, Brooke and Danny. Cherished son of the late Charles and Rose (nee Maresic). Dearest brother of the late Dorothy and brother-in-law of Marty and Marie Zugel, Maryanne and Evelyn Minut. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Ernie was a WW II US Navy Veteran. His hobbies were racing pigeons, bowling and was an avid Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavs fan.His family remembers him as outgoing, determined; family oriented; passionate and competitive especially in racing his pigeons.
