Etelka Francetic

ETELKA FRANCETIC (nee Klaric) age 89, beloved wife of the late Nikola; loving mother of Andrew (wife Kimberly) and Katica Cebula (husband Joseph); devoted grandmother of Justin Cebula (wife Ashley), Samantha and Victoria; cherished daughter of the late Marko and Marija (nee Kovac) Klaric; dearest sister of the late Gizela Farkas and Mladen Klaric; dear aunt and great aunt of many. 

Etelka was born January 6, 1935 in Detkovac-Virovitica, Slavonija, Croatia, and moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1962, where she raised her family with Nikola.  Together, they worked hard to attain their American Citizenship.  Etelka worked diligently for 35 years at Mueller Electric Company - Cleveland, Ohio.  Here, she made lifelong friendships and made memories that were dear to her heart.  She loved to garden, cook, bake and spend time outdoors. She loved nature.  She will be forever remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She loved her family and friends immensely.  She was extremely loving and cared for all.  She loved unconditionally.  Baba will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at St. Paul’s Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40th Street, Cleveland, Ohio at 12:00 Noon. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Etelka at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY MORNING 9-11 AM.
