Eva Hashiguchi

May 24, 1925 — September 1, 2025

Eva Hashiguchi passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at the age of 100. She was born in Clarksburg, CA. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Executive Order 9066 interned over 120,000 Japanese and Japanese-Americans. When WWII ended and the camps closed, Eva made her way to Cleveland. Athletic since her youth, she met her future husband, Mitch, while playing tennis. She played tennis into her 80's. She also loved bowling and playing bridge.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Mitch; siblings Edna, George, Henry, Harry, Mary, and Rosaline. She is survived by her children Beverly Kerecman (Mark), Don (Rosyln), and Mark (Deidre); 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
