FRANK J. NOWAK age 85, beloved husband for 57 years of the late Francine (nee Kozel); loving father of Cynthia Penton, Frank (wife Geri), and Mark; devoted grandfather of Bryan (wife Brooke), Caryanne (fiancé Brent Chervenic) and Brandyn Nowak, Justin and Kyle Penton and great grandfather of Bryce, Brady, Luka and Bryan; cherished son of the late Frank S. and Laura (nee Skowronski); dearest brother of Patricia Wisniewski (husband Fred deceased); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Frank was born on September 14, 1939, and passed away on June 9, 2025. He was a 1957 graduate of the Cleveland Trade School then went on to further his education at Fenn College and The Cleveland Engineering Institute. Frank was a US Army National Guardsman. He worked in manufacturing and engineering and was employed at Ohio Nut and Bolt for 43 years. He loved working with his hands which included woodworking and metal working. Frank resided in North Royalton since 2000 and previously in Parma Heights. He was active in several organizations including Alhambra Carmona Caravan No. 75 since 1982, The Kidney Foundation and The Elks Club of Parma. Frank enjoyed music from the 50's and 60's and was thought of as social and friendly. Those closest to him knew how giving he was of himself and his time. He was a hard-working man who was devoted to his wife and family and had an infectious smirk that they all loved. Frank will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Frank to the Order of Alhambra Carmona Caravan No. 75, 24735 Deerfield Dr., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
Relatives and friends are requested to meet at the church for the Mass of Christian Burial MONDAY, June 16, 2025, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 6667 Wallings Road, North Royalton, Ohio at 10 AM. Burial at a later date. Friends will be received at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME at 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), SUNDAY 4 - 7 P.M.
