FRED MANFRONI age 93, beloved husband for 67 years of Mary Jean (nee Cicchella); loving father of Patricia Russ (deceased), Butch (wife Marcia), Christopher (wife Cindy) and father-in-law of Chris Russ (wife Dianne); devoted grandfather of Jessica Manfroni, Brian Russ, Nathan, Taylor, Zachary, Alexandra, and Joshua Manfroni; cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Augustinelli); dearest brother of the late Nick (wife Josephine deceased), Pyma Zucca (husband Attilio deceased), Violet Evangelisti (husband Luigi deceased), Julio (wife Marie deceased), Eleanor Caruso (husband Victor deceased), Elizabeth Salizzoni (husband Octavio deceased), Julia Delio (husband James deceased), Peter (wife Alberta deceased), Elmer (wife Jean deceased), Frank (wife Edith), and John (wife Marlene); dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran.

Fred was born on September 21, 1928 in Pennsylvania and passed away peacefully on November 25, 2021.  He moved to South Euclid in 1943 and spent the last 67 years in Mayfield Heights.

After proudly serving his country during the Korean Conflict, he returned home where he worked as a hairdresser and raised his family. He enjoyed hunting and gardening and cooking with his family. Fred was a Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed listening to the Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Fred liked to travel, especially to Europe, Alaska and Alabama, but his favorite place was his cabin in Pennsylvania. Fred was well-loved. He was honest and hardworking. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. He will be missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights at 10 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Fred at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) WEDNESDAY 3-8 PM.
