Helen Giesler Mooney

HELEN GIESLER MOONEY (nee Knight) age 97, beloved wife of the late Paul W. Giesler and Bill Mooney; loving mother of David Giesler (wife Nancy), Laura Kessler (husband Randy), and Myra Lipps; devoted grandmother of Sara DiFranco (husband Gino), August Giesler, Matthew Giesler (wife Amanda), Emily Cline (husband Johnny), Andrew Kessler (wife Kelly), Amy McGhee (husband Bryan), Kayleigh Wigglesworth (husband Nicholas), and Jessica Fuleky (husband Joshua); caring great-grandmother of 11 and treasured great-great grandmother of 1; cherished daughter of the late William R. and Helen J. (nee King) Knight; dearest sister of the late William A. Knight; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Helen Giesler Mooney was born on May 22, 1928, to William and Helen Knight in London, Ontario, Canada. She lived in many local communities throughout her long life and became a United States Citizen in 1951. She married Paul W. Giesler on August 6, 1949, and the two spent 37 happy years together until his passing in 1986. She later married Bill Mooney, who has also since passed. Helen was an active member of many clubs over the years, and she had a soft spot for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchild. Helen returned home to heaven on May 25, 2025, and will be dearly missed by her many friends and family members.

All services private. Burial at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in South Euclid.
