Helene G. Finke

HELENE G. FINKE (nee Ranney) age 81, beloved wife for 58 years of Bruce; loving mother of Beverly Barich (husband Nick), Lisa Rafferty (husband Glen) and the late Beth McCarty (husband David); devoted grandmother of Jill and Kyle Rafferty, Miriam and Emma McCarty; cherished daughter of the late George and Helene (nee Brayla) Ranney; dearest sister of Beverly Campbell (husband Skip).

Helene was born in Cleveland on October 15, 1940 and passed away on November 30, 2021. She was a resident of Mayfield Village for the past 35 years, and formerly resided in Euclid. She was a member of St. Noel Catholic
Church, and a prior member of St. Felicitas Catholic Church.  In her spare time, Helene volunteered at Ronald McDonald House for many years. She was a travel agent as well as a Travel Instructor at Lakeland Community College. Her hobbies included golfing, travelling, and playing Bunco with friends.  The most enjoyment in her life came from her daughters, travelling with Bruce, golfing around the country, visiting Opryland in Tennessee, and the many Disney trips.  Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years were her favorite family functions, as she was an incredible cook and loved to spend that time with her family.  Helene was a true Libra and always kind, caring, and concerned for people. She will be dearly missed.
