Irene Davis

IRENE AGNES DAVIS (nee Drexler), aged 90 years, devoted wife of the late Joseph W., dearest mother to Mark (Lori), Ann Marie (JB Shaw), John (deceased) and Paul (Anne), and beloved by 9 grandchildren.

A longtime Gesu parishioner of deep and simple faith, Irene was active for decades teaching RCIA, developing the content for a Bereavement ministry, and serving meals and companionship with all those who visit the St. Patrick’s Hunger Center. With her dear friend Betty Browne and the support of many friends, Irene inscribed and delivered a new book to each student of St. Aloysius School annually for nearly 20 years.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Funeral Mass Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Gesu Catholic Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights, at 10:30 AM. Interment All Souls Cemetery.
