Irene Gombita

IRENE P. GOMBITA (nee Kopolovich), age 85; beloved wife of the late Joseph, Jr; loving mother of Mary Ann Fink (husband Daniel), Gary J. (wife Marla), Sharon Paul (husband Dennis) and Joseph M. (wife Marina); devoted grandmother of Brian, Susan and Kevin Fink, Kimberly and Ryan Gombita, Matthew, Anthony and Michele Paul, Alexander and Mark Gombita; dearest sister of the late Mary Yarnovich, Al, Helen and Mike Kopolovich, Ann Gerosky, Delores “Dolly” Prescott and Rose Marie Boros; cherished aunt of Karen Marie Boros and many other nieces and nephews.

Irene’s family remembers her as a good cook who was a loving, caring, generous and selfless mother and grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 11:00 AM. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Irene at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on FRIDAY from 3:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
