Irene T. Hurless

IRENE T. HURLESS (nee Shilling (Szelag)); beloved wife of the late Walter W.; loving mother of Karen Reitz (husband Michael), Patricia, Brian (wife Michele) and Thomas; devoted grandmother of Brian and Kelly Hurless, Michael S. and Sean Reitz (wife Aimee) and great-grandmother of Lauren, Rebecca, Christopher, Jenna and Samantha; preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A resident of Lyndhurst for 19 years, after moving from Eastlake, Irene was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church since 1994. She was a simple, unassuming homemaker who enjoyed big band music and baking and was a great cook.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 27, 2013 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Irene at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-8 PM.
