Jack Gura

Jack Gura age 96, beloved husband of the late Barbara; loving father of Anne Grover (husband Brian), Jackie, Michael, and Debbie; devoted grandfather of Dan (wife Bridget), Nicole and Sara; dearest brother of the late Ursula Gurakuqi and son of the late Michael and Clare Gurakuqi.

Jack was born on December 30, 1925 and passed away peacefully on January 3, 2022. He was born in Shkoder, Albania and emigrated to the United States in 1959.  He worked for Cleveland Twist Drill as an Inspector. Jack was multilingual and spoke four languages. He loved his hobbies: growing Italian fig trees, raising canaries, racing homing pigeons, and wine making.  Jack had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and flowers, especially red geraniums and roses.  He also loved soccer and being outside riding his bike, walking and listening to the birds sing!

Jack was a strong and proud man with a witty sense of humor and positive outlook on life.

He will be dearly missed.

Private burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery.
