James Boyce

JAMES I. BOYCE, aged 89 years. Died February 21, 2007 in Meadville, PA. Beloved husband for 30 years of the late A. Elzine (nee White). Loving father of JP Thompson (husband John Finkler) and Jo Morgan of Niceville, FL, and step-father of William White and Patricia Lapham (husband Ron). Devoted grandfather of SarahJane Dekorte (husband Daniel), Kathryn Tanko (husband Nicholas), and great-grandfather of Hannah Jane and Kathrine Joy Dekorte. Dearest son of the late Ethel (nee Shemel) and William G. Boyce. Cherished brother of Dorothy Louise Boyce of Clearfield, PA. Former husband of Helen R. Boyce of Niceville, FL. Jim was Hospital Administrator for many years in the Lake Hospital System and was instrumental in helping establish Lake West HospitalFormer Member of the Rotary Club of Painesville. He was a graduate of Temple University and earned a MBA from University of Chicago. Jim was the recipient of numerous honorary degrees; enjoyed sailing,flying and was a licensed pilot.
