James was born on May 1, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Eastlake North High School and went on to become an electronic technician at Bailey.
His varied hobbies included horses, woodworking, stamp and coin collecting.
James will be remembered as a social, friendly and funny person who was a great storyteller who loved to sing.
