Janet G. Hann

July 11, 1940 — June 6, 2025

JANET G. HANN (nee Gillespie) age 84, beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Deborah Franey, Patricia (Roger) Siegfried, Christopher (Jennifer) Hann, and Bill (Gina) Hann; devoted grandmother of Jason Franey (deceased), Joshua (Ashley) Franey, Daniel Siegfried, Jack (Kylee) Hann, Kyle Hann, Madelyn Hann, Bryan Hann, and Avery Hann; caring great-grandmother of Coral Franey; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Eleanore (nee Parsons) Gillespie; dearest sister of the late Robert (Ann) Gillespie, and Betsy Riccardi (Frank, deceased).

Janet was born on July 11, 1940, to Robert and Eleanore in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area and graduated from Brush High School as part of the class of 1958. Janet met the love of her life, William, and the two settled down and started a family together, bringing 4 wonderful children into the world. She decided to take on the important role of homemaker and took care of her household with natural grace and her family with unconditional love. Janet was also a loyal member of the Order of The Eastern Star, where she was well regarded among her brethren. She had a true zest for life and was an avid walker and reader who took an interest in politics. Janet also enjoyed drinking coffee and gardening. What brought Janet the most enjoyment in life though was spending time with her family. Janet passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
