Janet Tomishin

JANET TOMISHIN, age 60; beloved mother of Lorri Lesko (husband Brian), David Spooner and Tracy Spooner; devoted grandmother of Tyler Spooner, and Lauren and Paul Spooner; loving daughter of Genevieve (nee Smith) and the late John; dearest sister of Susan Doyle (husband Charles) and Ellen Gurin (husband Timothy); dear aunt and great-aunt; also survived by her faithful dog “Baxter”.

Janet graduated from Collinwood High School and worked at Baker & Hostetler in the Accounting Department as a Billing Coordinator. Her hobbies included decorating, reading and loving her dog, Baxter. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from her family and she loved the holidays – Fall was her favorite season. Janet was gracious, gentle, and always made everyone feel good. She was humble, loving and intelligent – always understood what you were going through and had a great capacity to talk you through any crisis. She was the epitome of a lady and will be dearly missed by her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2009 at St. Anselm Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial following in Knollwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Janet at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on Monday, September 7, 2009 from 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
