Jay Zavodny

JAY N. ZAVODNY age 77, beloved husband for 57 years of Susan (nee Frischkorn); loving father of Robyn Lojek (husband Richard) and the late Kevin; devoted grandfather of Alexa Fees, Felicity Lojek, Maier and Merrik Zavodny; cherished son of the late John and Lillian (nee Hurshman); dearest brother of his twin Jon (wife Judy) and Ken (wife Ann); dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend of many. U.S. Vietnam Army Veteran. 

Jay was born on January 8, 1947. He graduated in 1965 from Willoughby South High School and attended Lakeland Community College. Being a take charge type person, he rose to the position of Plant Manager for Cleveland Steel Tool Company. Jay spent leisure time on the road riding his motorcycles or driving classic cars. Other favorite pastimes included golf, softball and listening to Van Morrison. His most cherished position in life was that of a devoted husband, father and grandfather. This sweet and honorable man passed away on March 26, 2024 and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor to know him.
