JEAN D. AMATO (nee Salvatore), age 100; beloved wife of the late Vincent; loving mother of Joseph of California; devoted grandmother of Christine, Laura Androsko and great-grandmother of Melissa, John and Jacqueline; Dearest sister of the late Emma DiFiori and Irene Ianiaro and John Salvatore; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.
Jean enjoyed playing bingo and crafts. She was also a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians. Her family remembers her as a classy lady who was very generous and kind, always faithful and had a bit of a sweet tooth.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Burial following at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jean at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) on SATURDAY MORNING from 8:30-9:30 AM.
