JEANETTE M. “JEAN” PENKO (nee Zeman) who was in her 90^th year, beloved wife for 63 years of the late Stanley V.; loving mother of James (wife Mary), Ronald, Robert (wife Tammy), Diane Smith (husband Ronald), and Linda Capaldi (husband James Jr. “Butch”); devoted grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 4; cherished daughter of the late James Zeman and Rose Zeman (nee Oberstar); dearest sister of Beatrice Kovac (husband Ronald), the late Irene Pezdir (husband Andy deceased) and Betty Walters (husband John deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt to many.

Jean was born December 5, 1932, in Cleveland Ohio. She resided in Madison but was a long-time resident of Euclid Ohio. She attended Collinwood High School. Jean was a member of Euclid Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and S.N.J.P Lodge 126.

Jean was the Best Mom Ever! She devoted herself to her family. She loved to crochet, read and Polka dance. Jean was a wonderful cook and baker. She loved Christmas time and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. They would describe her as being strong-willed, giving and active; she was very social and friendly and had a great sense of humor.

She has been reunited with her beloved Stanley and they are together again.

Contributions may be made in memory of Jean to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Prayers of Christian Burial Friday September 9, 2022, at 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery.
