Jeanne Fleischhacker

Jeanne Fleischacker(nee Tuma), born Sept. 25, 1939, passed away May 15, 2026, aged 86 years. Beloved wife for 53 years to Robert, loving mother of Adam (Lindsay), Joe (Ann) and Kristie, loving grandmother of Violet, Elena, Miles (deceased) and Reed, cherished daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (nee Berch) Tuma, treasured sister of Robert Tuma and the late Judy Tuma White and Gus Tuma, fond aunt and grand-aunt.

Jeanne was born in Cleveland, Ohio where she attended Lourdes Academy, a private Catholic girls high school. She went on to attend Notre Dame College and had a long career as a teacher.

Jeanne had a wide variety of musical interests from listening to Paul Simon and Neil Diamond to attending Cleveland Orchestra concerts. She could be found doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles or dancing when she wasn’t outside in her garden. Her favorite holiday was Christmas when she could gather with family and her beloved grandchildren.

Jeanne will be remembered as a kind, gentle and cheerful woman with a loving and generous nature. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Please meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 22, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church of Communion of Saints Parish (Cedar at Coventry) at 11:30 AM. Private burial at a later date. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Jeanne at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
