Jeffrey A. Meyer

Jeffrey A. Meyer, age 65 of Willoughby Hills, passed away January 21, 2024 with his family by his side following a brief and hard-fought battle with cancer.

Jeff was born in Euclid, Ohio on February 17, 1958 to Benedetta C. “Betty” (nee Cefaratti) and Robert J. Meyer Sr. After graduating from Willoughby South High School in 1976, Jeff went on to become an Engineering Specialist for the prestigious Eaton Corporation, a job he loved and took tremendous pride in. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed cooking for his family, baking and eating his infamous desserts and pies, attending car shows, driving his 1957 Chevy Bel Air, bowling, and fishing. Jeff was a kind and selfless person who frequently sacrificed his own time to help family and friends, putting his handyman skills and talents to good use.

Jeff is survived by his parents; loving wife, Lenora (nee Vespucci); daughter, Marie Holloway (Matt) and son, Anthony; stepdaughters, Danna Avsec and Ellen Contrucci (Tony); grandchildren, Ariana, Rachelle, Haley (Matthew), Drew, Oscar, Vaughn, Dominic and Nora; also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and loyal canine companions Macy, Ringo, and Ellie.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert J. “Bobby” Jr. and his four-legged babies, Bailey, Aggie, and Ralphie.

Funeral Service 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 29th at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME 28890 CHARDON RD., WILLOUGHBY HILLS (Between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) where the family will receive friends FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 PM MONDAY.
