JOHN T. MEYER age 68, husband of the late Sandra Lee (nee Ruggiero); loving father of Michelle (fiancé Mike) Meyer Sturgill and Christopher (wife Mindy); stepfather of Nicolette Harper (husband John); devoted grandfather of Jordan (wife Kelsey) and Adam Sturgill, and Aedyn, Gabe, Alivia and Emme Meyer, and Alexandria Harper; great-grandfather of Ava; cherished son of the late James and Carolyn (nee Fievet) Meyer; dearest brother of Daniel (wife Jamie), Tim (wife Anne), Carleen Ostrosky (husband Steve), Therese MacDonald (husband Rob), and the late James II and Christopher; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

John was born on June 19, 1954, in Mentor, Ohio. He loved watching and playing golf, as well as dancing to 70’s music. An avid Cleveland sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Browns and Indians play over the years. Before his retirement he dedicated many years to TRW and PCC Airfoils. Above all things he loved being with his family, whether they were going out for breakfast, ice cream, or he was attending sports events and races. His contagious smile and sense of humor would put his friends and family to tears. On October 25, 2022, John passed away leaving his family missing his sarcasm and great conversation.
