Joseph L. Morganti

JOSEPH L. “BUDDY” MORGANTI age 88, beloved husband for 66 years of Janet (nee Mako); loving father of Jacqueline (Michael) Duffy, Janette (Anthony) Pasquale, and Joseph J.; devoted grandfather of Tina, Erin, Tony, and Jill and great-grandfather of Roc; cherished son of the late Joseph and Marian (nee Degastro); brother of Johanna Collins and Barbara Paulina.

Joseph was born on June 19, 1935, in Creekside, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Buddy married the love of his life Janet and together they built a family that he would cherish. He loved taking trips to Pennsylvania to see family, taking the kids to the pool and playing with them, and selling Christmas trees at his children’s schools. He dedicated many years as an Operating Engineer of Local 18 and found enjoyment in the outdoors, whether he was hunting or fishing. On December 25, 2023, this most friendly man, who knew no stranger, passed away leaving his family missing him endlessly.

A private family burial will take place at Whitehaven Memorial Park.
