Joseph N. Gantous age 82, beloved husband for 52 years of Judy (nee Marino); loving father of Joseph Jr., Mary Ann Frato (husband Joseph), and Barbara Ann; devoted grandfather of Ronald, Madline (Josh), and Joseph Gantous, Joseph, Marina, Christina, Anthony, Matthew, Faustina, and Gabriel Frato, and great-grandfather of Reed; cherished son of the late Nemer and Shahana (nee Shibley) Ghantous; dearest brother of Souhad Asmar (husband John, deceased) and Sam (wife Theresa), and the late Hafiz (wife Betty, deceased), Emil (wife Margaret), Madelyn Maroun (husband Fariz), and Nora Asmar (husband George, deceased); dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested in memory of Joe to the Aitaneet Foundation, St. Maron Church, or St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 12 PM at St. Maron Catholic Church, 1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland; burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Joe at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM. Prayers of Incense Wednesday 4 PM.
