KATHERINE “KATY” MARIE REPASY (nee Shinhearl) age 56, beloved wife for 30 years of Paul; loving mother of Michael, Jason and Molly; cherished daughter of Roberta (nee Hellwig) and the late Robert Shinhearl; dearest sister of Jeff Shinhearl, Leanne Guddy and Aimee Shinhearl; treasured daughter-in-law of Ann Marie (nee Iannicelli) and the late George Repasy; dear aunt of Karisa Wolf, Nina Guddy, Kyra Shinhearl and Viviana Shinhearl.

Katy, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on December 21, 2025, in University Heights, Ohio. Born on April 8, 1969, in Cleveland Heights, she later attended Brush High School in Lyndhurst where she graduated in 1987. Katy filled her world and the lives of those around her with warmth and joy. She was a dedicated cashier at Marc’s, where she brought a bright smile to her customers and a spark of kindness to her coworkers throughout her career.

Katy treasured the laughter and love of her family, especially her husband, Paul, with whom she shared over 30 years of unwavering devotion. Her heart filled with pride as she cheered for her sons, Michael and Jason, and her daughter, Molly, during their sports games, always the loudest supporter from the stands. An active participant in her children's lives, she volunteered at school events and cherished every moment spent together, creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

A remarkable woman, Katy found joy in decorating her home for every season and holiday, infusing her surroundings with a colorful spirit. She adored spending weekends antiquing with Paul and their children, often returning home with unique treasures. An enthusiastic member of her community, her friendships were cherished, and the time spent in the company of loved ones was of utmost importance to her. She will be deeply missed, remembered for her bright spirit and the love she shared freely with everyone she encountered.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at St. Gregory the Great Church, 1545 S. Green Rd., South Euclid at 10AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Katy at DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. FRIDAY, JANUARY 2, 2026 from 4-8 PM.
