Laura was born on August 10, 1948, to Michael and Clara Vitullo, in Cleveland Ohio. She graduated from Bedford High School as part of the 1966 class before choosing to pursue higher education at Ohio University. Laura finished her bachelor’s degree in education at Kent State University and went on to work as a substitute teacher at both St. Rita’s and Solon City Schools. She was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. Rita’s Catholic Church for more than 30 years. Laura was also a parishioner at Holy Angels in Bainbridge. She met the love of her life, Frank, in high school, and the two were happily married on August 1st, 1970. They decided to start a family together, and Laura brought three wonderful children into the world. Just as she was devoted to her faith, Laura was also deeply devoted to her family. She was the lady of the house and always made sure everyone was fed with her delicious cooking. Laura loved to cook and bake for her family and friends and always made you feel welcome when you entered her home. Always an amazing hostess, Laura adored party planning and always made sure every little detail of an event was perfect. Laura also loved to travel and visited many different places throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed listening to country music, but what brought her the most enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandkids as their ‘Nana’. Her friendly demeanor and sociable personality made it so she never knew a stranger and was always making new friends. Laura returned home to Heaven on December 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy as a woman who always put family and faith before herself.
