LAWRENCE L. CALABRO, age 65, cherished son of the late Louis and Angela (nee Paparone); treasured brother of Rose Rufo (husband Ken); devoted uncle of Louis Rufo (wife Jennifer), Vincent Rufo (wife Ashley) and great-uncle of Atticus, Sebastian and Miles; dearest nephew of Santo and Gloria Paprone, and the late Sam Calabro; loving companion of Carol Kenny; dear friend of many. U.S. Marine Corps. Vietnam Veteran.
Larry was born November 11, 1949 in Cleveland and passed away on November 4, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst. Larry was a member of VFW Post #4358 in Willoughby Hills. He graduated from Brush High School in 1967. Larry worked at Michael’s Bar and Grill as a bartender. He was a sports fan and loved social gambling. Larry got the most enjoyment in life from Carol and social libations. He will be remembered most as very social, giving, generous, strong-willed and determined person. Larry was a legend to his family and friends and did everything HIS WAY.

Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 5 PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private burial at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Larry THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SATURDAY 1-5 PM.
