Linda E. Jacobs

LINDA E. JACOBS (nee Smith) age 73, beloved wife for 42 years of Gary E. Jacobs; cherished daughter of the late Jesse Smith and Esther (nee Garry); dearest sister of Jean Bowrey (husband Gary) and the late Carol who passed in 2003 (husband Paul Stoughbaugh); dear aunt of Kathy Huang and Gary Bowrey Jr., Steven Burger and Kim McCready and great-aunt to special niece Amber and grandnephews Alex, Eric, Adam, and Mitch; sister-in-law of Arlene Burger. In addition to her family, Linda leaves behind her 3 dogs Jenny, Honey, and Maddie; and 4 cats Mama, Goldie, Blackie, and Bad Eye. 

She was an employee of Ford Motor Company in the finance department for 29 years. She was a member of the Willoughby Hills Methodist Church for over 20 years. 

Linda was a lover of animals — especially cats and dogs –, enjoyed shopping, reading, and traveling with her husband in their earlier years. Linda was a strong, faithful, giving, loving, and determined woman. For 15 years, Linda generously gave her time as a volunteer to Breckenridge Nursing Home and many other organizations. She loved donating to her favorite charities, auction baskets, and a helping hand.  

Contributions may be made in memory of Linda to the Willoughby Hills Methodist Church or Euclid Pet Pals. Cremation by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS. Celebration of Life to take place at a later date in the spring of 2022.
