Margaret J. Boger

MARGARET J. BOGER (nee Elias), age 96, beloved wife for 75 years of the late Joseph; loving mother of Ronald (wife Jolene), Albert (wife Herme), Sharon Seabeck (husband Scott), Diane Balata (husband Robert) and Margaret “Peggy” Schuster; devoted grandmother of eleven and great-grandmother of twenty-three; cherished daughter of the late Shakrey and Hassiba (nee Bou Slyman) Elias; dearest sister of Lou Elias (wife Karen) and the late George Elias (wife Beverly deceased), Georgette Halloway (husband Lou deceased), Emil Elias, James Elias (wife Lillian), Rose Halliday (husband Peter deceased) and Elaine Anderson (husband Jake deceased); dear aunt and great aunt of many.

Margaret was born December 5, 1927 and passed away on June 10, 2024. She graduated from Lincoln West High School in 1945 and remained in the Cleveland area. Always devoted to her family and faith, Margaret found great happiness in raising her five children and being a member of the St. Clare Church and St. Maron. Striving to serve her community, along with her social needs, she was an active member of the Lebanese Syrian Junior League. Favorite pastimes included golf, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Traveling to far off places, such as Florida, Hawaii and Las Vegas, brought Margaret great enjoyment. Her family and friends will forever miss her sweet ways and loving smile.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, OH 44124 at 10AM. Burial following at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Margaret at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 4-8PM.
