It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret “Marge” Pawlowski, a woman of deep faith and strong family values.
Marge passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95 on January 21, 2026. She was the beloved wife of more than 69 years to Adam; the loving mother of Mark (Sue), Bob (Cybele), Bill (Teri), and Jim (Claudia); devoted grandmother of Michael (Sonia), Robert (Kelsey), Rebecca (Brian), Camille (Mark), Jarod, Danny, Natalie, and Evelyn; and cherished great-grandmother of Marie. She was the beloved daughter of the late Vilmos and Ethel (née Mihalku) Seer; dear sister of the late Andy, Bill, Frank, and Bernie; and a loving aunt and great-aunt to many.
Margaret was born on February 3, 1930, in Dayton, Ohio, where she met and married Adam. In the 1950s, they made their way to the Cleveland area, where they put down roots, raised their family, and shared decades of warmth and friendship within a close-knit group of friends. In 1976, Margaret became a devoted parishioner of St. John of the Cross Church (St. Felicitas), where she loyally attended for many years.
Marge grew up playing softball in Dayton and later with friends in Euclid. Her competitive spirit continued through her love of bocce, where she won multiple church league championships. She also had a deep love for baking and for listening to her favorite singer, Perry Como. Through these simple joys, she shared with her family a zest for life and a passion for staying active.
Margaret was a loving grandmother who made each grandchild feel truly special. Whether offering a listening ear and heartfelt advice or cheering them on at wrestling matches, gymnastics meets, soccer games, school concerts, or plays, she always made sure they knew how proud she was of them—often reminding them to “be good, or don’t get caught.”
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
