Marian Higgins

MARIAN SCHREIBER HIGGINS, age 96, passed away April 19, 2021; beloved wife of the late Paul J. Higgins; loving sister of the late William (Leona) Schreiber and Ruth (Darrel) Shaw; dearest aunt and great-aunt of many.  

Marian was born in Cleveland on May 25, 1924 and spent most of her life in Mayfield Heights.  She was a graduate of Mayfield High School Class of 1942.  She worked in the optometry field assisting in a doctors office.  She enjoyed painting, sewing and golfing.  She and her late husband Paul enjoyed entertaining and traveling.  Marian is best remembered as a very special, kind, thoughtful, and generous woman.  She was always a “wise counsel” and was the true definition of ‘a lady’.  She will be greatly missed. 

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Private service and burial at Knollwood Cemetery.
