MARY K. BEDNAR (nee Abood), age 90; beloved wife of the late Edward, Sr.; loving mother of Vivian Rego, Barbara, Edward Jr. (wife Patricia), and Sheri; devoted grandmother of Danielle and Michael; cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (nee Joseph); dearest sister of the late Albert Abood; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Mary was born on April 26, 1925 in Cleveland and passed away on January 17, 2016. She was a resident of Lyndhurst since 1960, formerly living on Woodland Ave. in Cleveland. Mary was an active parishioner at St. Clare Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was a Eucharistic Minister. She graduated from Audubon High School and was a receptionist for Canterbury Country Club. Mary loved Bingo and playing cards. Her family will remember Mary most as a warm and loving woman with a good heart.

Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Inurnment Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1 PM at Knollwood Cemetery 1678 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Heights, OH. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) SATURDAY 12 – 4 PM.
