Mary E. Petriella

MARY E. PETRIELLA (nee Moretti) age 80. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Angelo; loving mother of Cliff (wife Cathy), John (wife Christine) and Mary Anne Kawalec; former mother-in-law of Raymond Kawalec; devoted grandmother of Melissa Snively (David), Monica Loncar (Joseph), Maria Saplak, Michele Cirino (Rob), Sean Trembczynski, Gregory and David Kawalec, Daniel and Allison Petriella and great-grandmother of 8; cherished daughter of the late Carmine and Lena (nee Sidone) Moretti; dearest sister of Eleanore Bartley (husband John, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many; loyal companion to canine Mozart.

Mary was active at the Willoughby Hills Senior Center. A graduate of Collinwood High School, Mary worked as a paralegal until she became a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, knitting and cooking. Her family will fondly remember her as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with a very sweet disposition.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
