MARY S. ROBERTS (nee Pavelka) age 84, loving mother of Julia, Heather Walker (husband Michael) and Brandi; devoted grandmother of Kyle Roberts; cherished daughter of the late Michael and Anna (nee Beres) Pavelka; dearest sister of David Pavelka (wife Brenda) and the late Ann Curtis (husband Joseph deceased), Michael Pavelka (wife Ann), Dorothy Baine (husband Hank deceased), Dolores Mason (husband Steve deceased) and Caroline Kaczmarek (husband Stanley); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

A kind and generous soul was born on May 28th in 1941. Mary was a delight to her proud parents, Michael and Anna Pavelka. Throughout her life, Mary saw the world through rose colored glasses, loving people unconditionally. Socially inclined, she loved talking with people and putting them at ease with her sense of humor.

After graduating from Euclid High School in 1959, she enjoyed being gainfully employed as a sales representative, filing clerk and proofreader. Mary had a variety of personal interests, which included being an avid reader, going to the beach to tan, trying her luck on the casino slots, listening to country, rock and classical music, and lovingly taking care of animals.

As a Cleveland sports fan, Mary was always interested in a Cleveland Indians game. But when it came to football, she was split in her die-hard admiration for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns – especially the era of Brian Sipe and the Cardiac Kids.

Memories are a blessing, which will be cherished in her family’s hearts and help guide them through their grief of Mary’s passing on June 20, 2025.
