Mary Sarosy

MARY F. SAROSY (nee Shea), age 84. Beloved wife of the late Joseph E., loving mother of Kathleen Sarosy (husband Scott Sissman) of WY, Peg Sarosy (partner Christine Baird) of CA, James of Mentor, Mary Jean Severin (husband James) of WI and the late Richard J. Cherished grandmother of Nicole and Allison Severin and Maggie Baird. Dear sister of Richard, Philip, and Sr. Elinor Shea, O.S.U. Mary worked as a social worker nurse for Hospice of the Western Reserve from 1989-1995. She also worked for the Catholic Service Bureau from 1969-1973. She was a WW II Army Nurse Corp Veteran serving in the Philippines and Japan as well as a former Board Member for Lake Geauga Center. Mary was a founding member of the Western Reserve Counseling Service where she worked from 1973-1988. In 1988 she served as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Africa and throughout her life was an avid perennial gardener.
