Michael Caprara

MICHAEL DOMINIC CAPRARA age 62, beloved father of Maria Caprara and Olga LaCour (husband David); devoted grandfather of Joshua and Paul LaCour; cherished son of the late Dominic Caprara and Patricia Caprara (nee Hughes); dearest brother of Nicole Caprara and the late Jeffrey Caprara; treasured nephew of Donald and Sheila Hughes, Kenneth and Sandy Hughes, Gail and James Straight and the late Albert Caprara (wife Patricia); dear cousin and friend of many. 

Mike was born on February 12, 1962, and passed away on March 1, 2024. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1980. Mike lived in Maryland for over 20 years prior to moving back to his hometown of Mayfield Hts. Ohio. Mike started his career as a professional painter with his own business. He ended his career as a project manager for new commercial construction. Mike's hobbies included boating, sailing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He was a musician and played the bass guitar. He loved all types of music. He was a Cleveland Browns as well as a Baltimore Ravens fan. Mike's family and friends describe him as loving, funny and charming. He lit up a room and was a friend to everyone. He will be remembered for the intelligent, hardworking and passionate man that he was. He was dedicated to his family and friends and will be deeply missed. 

Celebration of Life Service Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory.
