Michelle Ilc

MICHELLE ILC (nee Osaben), 82 years old passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Born on November 23, 1942 in Cerknica, Republic of Slovenia and immigrated to the USA in 1955 with her sister Cilka Kosir. Beloved wife for 60 years of Metod Ilc; loving mother of Todd and the late Bernadette; cherished daughter of the late Matija and Marija; dearest sister of the late Franci Osaben and Cilka Kosir (husband Paul); dear aunt of Michael Kosir (wife Becky), Thomas Kosir (wife Mary), Martha Stankewicz (husband Benjamin) and Paul Kosir Jr. Michelle was employed as a bookkeeper at the beginning of her career and then a long time financial controller for numerous companies. She was a devoted member of St. Vitus Altar Society and the Slovenska Pristava Pensioners as well as an avid gardener, prolific reader and member of a book club.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Michelle to St. Vitus Catholic Church or Slovenska Pristava.

Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY, July 26, 2025 at St. Vitus Catholic Church at 12 Noon. Burial follows at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Michelle prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at the church beginning at 10am until 12 Noon on SATURDAY, July 26, 2025.
