Millie "Cookie" Gass

MILLIE “COOKIE” GASS (nee Hasto), 76, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Cookie’s warmth, strength, and faith touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe; daughters, Tina (John) Kloski, Karen (Dan) Murphy, and Cheryl (Dan) Zagar; and her cherished grandchildren, Matt, Max, Sean, Ali, Ryan, and Zoe. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Peggy Hodakievic and Cy Hasto.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Cyril Hasto.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St Jude or the American Cancer Society.

Please meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd, Newbury Township, OH 44065, at 11 AM.
