Doris Nemer and Charles Nemer (Donna); treasured uncle, great-uncle, great-great uncle, cousin, Godparent, and friend of many.
Nabil Maroun was born on August 20th, 1940 in Aitaneet/Aitanite, Lebanon and was a longtime resident of Cleveland, OH. A man of deep Catholic faith, he attended Mass weekly at St. Maron Parish where he cultivated community and found strength in the hope of Christ’s Resurrection. Nabil worked for many years as a Produce Manager for Russo’s Stop-N-Shop retiring from Catalano’s Stop-N-Shop.
Those who knew Nabil “Bill” will remember him for his steady presence, generosity, humor, devotion to family, and his smile. He especially loved trips to the Amish Country with his brothers, particularly his late brother Albert, never missing an opportunity to visit the goat auctions. He loved gardening, dancing - especially Dabke, and giving food to everyone he visited even at stores and banks.
Above all, Nabil’s greatest joy was his grandchildren, his living legacy of faith and care. He truly loved family vacations and being together. Nabil will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
