Nabil N. Daher

age 73, beloved husband for 46 years of Lina (nee Shaker); loving father of Rony (wife Laura), Alan (wife Stephanie) and Rema McVey (husband Dwight); devoted grandfather of Olivia, Owen, Maverick, Easton, Theo, Lana, and Valentina; cherished son of Milia and the late Najem; dearest brother of Nadim (wife Polly), Mathile Saad (husband Jean), Joseph (wife Nana) and the late Rony; treasured son-in-law of Mary (nee Hajjar) and the late Joseph Shaker; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.

Nabil was born on November 5, 1948 in Aitaneet, Lebanon and passed away on December 16, 2021. He came to the United States in 1968, lived in University Heights from 1968-1978 and has lived in Willoughby Hills since 1978. Nabil was a member of St. Maron Church and Aitaneet Brotherhood Association. His career was dedicated to the bar and restaurant industry, and he was responsible for multiple successful businesses in the Cleveland area. Throughout his life. he enjoyed Cleveland sports, gardening, bike riding, traveling and cruises — especially Caribbean beaches. Most of all, he was dedicated and devoted to his family. While his children brought him great joy, nothing quite captured his heart like his 7 grandchildren. Nabil will be remembered most as a hardworking, social, and funny man who had a good sense of humor and loved to debate. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Nabil to St. Maron Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Maron Catholic Church 1245 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland. Burial following at Calvary Cemetery.

The family has requested that in order to safeguard all in attendance, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED.
