(nee Zupancic) age 90, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving children, Mark Glinski retired Willoughby attorney and Lee Ann Glinski of Mentor.
Beloved and cherished wife of 69 years to Charles Glinski, deceased.
Besides being a wife and mother, Nancy worked as a secretary and cosmetologist, prior to attending college at Kent State University and receiving a master's degree in education three credits short of a doctorate, Suma Cum Laude. She went on to teach for 26 years as an elementary school teacher in the Euclid school system. After retiring, Nancy spent over twenty years volunteering for the Cleveland Clinic.
Beloved friend of many. She was generous, compassionate and forgiving. She most enjoyed dinners and holidays with her family, lunches and card games with her many friends. She loved her neighborhood and neighbors and watching the wildlife in her backyard (deer, geese, birds, rabbits and squirrels).
Lifelong animal lovers, the Glinskis had many adopted cats and dogs over the years, helping with founding the Citizens Pet Responsibility Committee in Euclid, later becoming Euclid Pet Pals.
Nancy was a lifelong fitness buff, always taking great pride in her appearance, exercising daily, taking long walks and eating healthily (trying to convince the rest of the family to do so).
Enjoyed her many vacations over the years with family- Florida, California and a trip to Yugoslavia to visit her ancestors' homes. She further enjoyed going to live theatres, concerts, and visiting museums throughout the country. Other hobbies included planting flowers, bowling and watching her favorite soap General Hospital, for many years.
She lived a good life.
