Nello P. Salvatore Jr.

NELLO P. SALVATORE JR. age 72, Loving father of Nello C, (Jennifer McClendon), Christopher; former husband of Gayle Salvatore; stepfather of Christopher Szuch (Christie); devoted grandfather of Angelina; cherished son of Nello P. and Rita Marie (nee Savioli); dearest brother of the late Alfredo (wife Laura) and Cheryl Stewart; dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Nello was born on March 15, 1953. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1971 and he was a US Army Airborne Veteran. He worked in the construction business as a heavy equipment operator for much of his life and was a member of the Local 18 Union. Nello spent his last days alongside his son working at the company they built together. He lived his life to the fullest traveling throughout the United States while listening to his favorite rock n roll classics. He engaged in a multitude of activities. He was a true outdoorsman who loved camping and boating. He belonged to a billiards league. He loved to cook. Many Sundays were spent making meatballs and sauce. He enjoyed trying his luck at the Casinos, but it was his big heart and witty sense of humor that won him a fortune in friendships. He was a stranger to no one. Nello, had a magnetic personality and will be missed by all who knew and loved him

Celebration of Life Service will be held on FRIDAY, AUGUST 1, 2025 at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Nello at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on THURSDAY JULY 31, 2025 from 4-8 PM.
